Italian Language Schools
In Part one of Italian Language Schools, we looked at schools in New York and Chicago. Now we will look at schools in other locations.
Schools in Seattle
At Seattle Languages International they offer classes at six different levels. These levels include:
- Conversational Introduction
- Traveler’s Classes
- Level 2
- Level 3
- Level 4
- Level 5
Some benefits of Seattle Language International include:
- Textbooks for these classes are provided by the school and do not need to be purchased.
- Free trial classes
- Instructors are either native in their language or have a high level of fluency.
- Continuous deals & specials
Tuition for these classes is affordable and they can be taken in a group setting or privately. Tuition rate for group setting range from $10-$12 USD an hour. The private rates are as follows:
- $35 USD an hour for 1 student
- $45 USD an hour for 2 students
- $60 USD an hour for 3 students
Most of the classes occur one time a week at 2 hour intervals. The instructors use role play as well as other conversational techniques to help learners better understand the Italian language. More than 10 other languages are also offered.
Berlitz Language Center is also located in Seattle , Washington. They provide private and group Italian language classes for both adults and children. Classes are taught by native speakers in a relaxed atmosphere. By using the Berlitz Method, customized language classes are available to suit individual needs. Open houses are the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm., where you can attend a free trial class. They also offer classes in more than 10 other languages.
Dante Alighieri Society of Washington offers various levels of Italian Language classes ranging from introduction to advanced. They provide classes throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. Each class has a start date in October and lasts for thirty weeks. These classes do not run into the summer months. The only class which has different start dates and timelines is the introductory conversation class, which lasts only 10 weeks. All classes are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at night.
These are only a few of the many Italian language classes out there. These are privately owned businesses who provide language classes for individuals in different age groups. Other options can include community college classes, which may very well offer financial support such as financial aid or federally funded loans. This option may be available on site at local colleges or even from an online environment.
