    Why a Metric System Quiz?

    How well do you know the metric system? The United States is one of the very few countries in the world that does not use the metric system. It is the language of science and mathematics, and the measurement used with most imported goods. If you travel, you will need to know how this system works.

    This quiz will acquaint you with the basic metric units that measure distance, volume and area as well as give you historical tidbits to make the questions more interesting. You should feel much more comfortable with using metric measurements after you finish these questions.
